NYC Half Marathon presented by Nike, July 27, 2008
70 deg., 90% humidity, overcast. No not a perfect day for a race, first
half of the race is in central park with some of the worst hills you
can find on a course, but after that is through Time Square and down
to Battery Park City. That part is great. Finished with a time of 1:44:51or
8:00 mins per mile (for 13.1 miles). Only 10 seconds per mile off my
last race, which had a much easier course. View my splits charted online

Brooklyn Half Marathon, May, 3rd, 2008
It was really a perfect day for a race. About 52 degrees and overcast,
wind was out of the east so it did not affect us much. There where 5832
runners and I finished with a time of 1:42:50 or 7:50 mins per mile.
My goal was 8 minutes per mile for the 13.1 miles
so I killed it and am quite physched!
