Mr. Carrick is considered one of the foremost authorities on Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE), a protocol for transmitting data over the Internet, and brings his extensive experience and knowledge to Fine Point Technologies. His responsibilities include developing new markets and providing strategic guidance for the Fine Point Technologies' suite of PPPoE subscriber and broadband Management solutions.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Carrick served as President of Carrick Solutions Ltd, providing ISPs with versatile PPPoE- based solutions for deploying cutting-edge Internet access technologies. This allows Mr. Carrick to bring to the Company a unique perspective on PPPoE, leveraging his experience working with both end-users and Internet service providers to implement the protocol.

In 2001, he served as the Head of Quality Assurance and Online Marketing for Broadband2Wireless, a Boston-based ISP. Mr. Carrick began his professional career working within the technical support team at Nortel Networks.
